Get Involved

ANA is run by volunteers and supported by the generosity of families raising funds.

There are many ways to contribute.

Donate

ANA relies on donations from families and individuals like you to support our programs for bereaved families. Your tax-deductible donation helps us fulfill our promise to provide comfort and hope to families experiencing stillbirth.

All donations are used to fund ANA programs. ANA is made up entirely of volunteers and there is no paid staff, so every dollar goes directly to the programs that assist families of stillborn children.

Upon receipt, we will send you a letter confirming your donation. ANA is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donation is tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

ANA protects the confidentiality of its donors and does not share donor information with any other organization. ANA recognizes its donors, and those in whose memory the donation was made, in its newsletter. Only names are listed, and donors may request to remain anonymous.

Volunteer

ANA is run entirely by volunteers. Whether it’s planning fund-raising events throughout the year, helping to organize our annual Memorial Walk or assisting with administrative work, volunteers enable ANA to make a deep, meaningful difference in the lives of families of stillborn children.

Interested in volunteering?

Helping at our annual Memorial Walk? Attend a meeting? Let us know you are interested and together we will find a way to make a difference. Contact us on Facebook or contact Michelle at mmosca@angelnames.org.

Become a Sponsor

ANA hosts its annual Memorial Walk each October to honor the lives of babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth and infant death. The walk is attended by hundreds of people, and aims to raise awareness about pregnancy loss and infant death. The benefits of sponsoring this event are many, and vary by gift level. Complete our Sponsorship Form  or contact Michelle at mmosca@angelnames.org.

ANA Reporting Requirements

Because its annual budget is less than $25,000, ANA is not currently required to file Form 990 with the New York State Charities Bureau. ANA does file an annual exemption form, and a copy of this form may be obtained, on request, from ANA or from the New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.
