Memorial Walk
The walk, held Saturday, October 1, at Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., aims to raise awareness about pregnancy loss and infant death and honor dearly loved babies lost too soon. Registration is free.
The event is held rain or shine, with the majority of the day’s events under cover at the pavilion.
It’s a day filled with music and refreshments, activities and crafts for children, and opportunities to create new friendships with those who have had similar experiences. The spirit of the walk is of encouragement and community. It is hopeful, uplifting and empowering.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteering for the ANA Memorial Walk is not only fulfilling, but a lot of fun! Most assignments require only a couple hours of work the day of the walk, and can be tailored to your personality and skill set, whether you're a people person or prefer to help behind the scenes.
